ISFM Silver Cat Friendly Award
We are very pleased to announce after all of our hard work we have been awarded the Silver cat friendly clinic award! Cats find coming into a veterinary practice very stressful from being put into a carry box, travelling in a car, seeing dogs in the waiting room and then being handled by people they do not know, this is all very stressful for them so here are Corinium we try our very best to make your cats visit to the practice as stress free as possible!
-We have our cat only clinic every Wednesday morning, so dogs will not be booked in during this time.
-We have our cat corner where you can put your cat carry box on the shelves and put a blanket over the box which has been sprayed in feliway a calming product for your cat.
-In the consult room your cat will be offered treats and can sit on a blanket so it is more comfortable while being examined on the table
-Our cat advocate is Bettina. In 2002 Bettina qualified in Feline medicine, she is also a member of ISFM academy of feline and practitioners and has two cats of her own.
-Nicki our main vet nurse has been a nurse for over 10 years now so has lots of experience of looking after cats, she previously worked at a referral practice so has dealt with intensive care cases.
